All Officers and Crew provided by CSM are adequately qualified and trained for their assigned jobs and responsibilities. They are well aware of safe working practices, both for personnel safety and environment protection and will perform their duties with due diligence, care and efficiency to enhance customer satisfaction.

COLUMBUS SHIP MANAGEMENT PVT.LTD. will perform Its function crew management by following all applicable rules and regulations and work according to the stipulations of our quality system based on ISO 9001-2015 standard CSM will strive for continual improvement of the skills and competencies of our crew thereby improving our “Product” and enhance the satisfaction of our customers. In accordance with the international standard CSM will plan continual improvement in the effectiveness of its quality system.

Safety Policy
Ensure a safe and pleasant work environment by promoting safety practices Take preventive action well in advance to avoid dangerous situations and irregularities Training and re-training for continuous development of safety management skills All crewmembers are to perform their jobs and follow the objectives, policy and job procedures described in the management system. Master & authorized persons onboard vessel, make sure that the established system is well executed and followed closely.

Training Policy
The training (only STCW 2010 & value added courses) of seagoing staff is carried out at the Government of India approved Training Centers, located at Mumbai or other geographical places, where seafarers recruited/placed through the Company are generally briefed about the Principal's Policies and Objectives.

Ltd., If Principals advise can also encourages and assists the officers and crew for taking up professional courses, to improve and supplement their professional knowledge, for career advancement and job satisfaction. The copies of training certificates are uploaded in our Columbus Ship Management Private Limited administrator.
